Erickson v. Commissioner (filed 4/30/07 - Section 2036 - FLP)

In this Tax Court case, the Court held that the estate failed to show a legitimate and significant non-tax purpose for the partnership, and, therefore the transfer of assets to the partnership was not a bona fide sale. Thus, the property transferred to the Partnership was included in the gross estate.
