This paper suggests a framework that creates a coherent environment for successful start-up valuation that is fully operational.  It emphasizes:  1) fundamentals of DCF valuation; 2) intellectual capital contributions; 3) embedded real options; 4) calibrated capital structure sensitivity and scenario analyses; and 5) coherent model with iterative financial functionalities.
